Christiansen Trail Run Half Marathon
Saturday, January 6th, 2024
Mountain View Park
9901 N. 7th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona
The original Phoenix trail run

A challenging yet fun event for both the beginners and veteran alike.
First run in 1987, the Christiansen Trail Run was one of the earliest organized trail runs in Arizona. The race runs along Trail 100 from Mountain View Park to Dreamy Draw and back. Come enjoy the scenic City of Phoenix North Mountain Preserve. The single track trail consists of steep climbs and descents, with rugged terrain and loose rocks along the way to challenge you.

All athletes receive
Technical running shirt, aid station support at miles 2, 4, 6.5, 9 & 11. There will also be fantastic finisher and division awards.
The route is on Trail 100, the Christiansen Trail, located in the middle of central Phoenix. Wedged between Phoenix, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, Trail 100 (is?) a go-to run route for locals and visitors. Though marked as “difficult” (by some trail apps?) due to length and some technical sections, the majority of the trail terrain is moderate in difficulty.
